VIDEO FOR WEDDING
ONLINE BOOKING — TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms & Conditions before booking.
By clicking BOOK NOW and making the required payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. These Terms form part of your booking agreement with Video for Wedding.
1. BOOKING & PAYMENT
A booking is confirmed when the booking form has been submitted, these Terms & Conditions have been accepted and the required booking payment has been received.
The booking fee will normally be £50–£200, depending on the date, notice, size and requirements of the event. The exact amount will be shown before booking.
The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on your booking confirmation.
2. SERVICES
Video for Wedding will provide the photography, videography and any additional services specifically included in your booking confirmation.
Additional hours or services requested after booking may be charged separately and are subject to availability.
3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The client must provide accurate booking information and inform Video for Wedding of any venue restrictions, filming restrictions, access requirements or other important information that may affect the service.
The client is responsible for obtaining any required permissions from the venue or other relevant parties.
4. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
Video for Wedding will provide the agreed services using professional equipment and reasonable professional skill and care.
The final photographs and films will be professionally selected and edited according to the package purchased.
Unless specifically included in the booking, RAW, unedited photographs and original video footage are not included.
5. DELIVERY & ONLINE DOWNLOAD
Final photographs and videos will normally be provided through an online gallery or downloadable link.
The client is responsible for downloading and safely storing their photographs and videos.
The online gallery/download link will normally remain available for 3 weeks from the date it is provided. The client must download and securely back up all photographs and videos within this period.
After the 3-week period, Video for Wedding may permanently delete the files from its online storage and will not be responsible for retaining or recovering the photographs or videos.
Video for Wedding does not guarantee permanent storage or backup of delivered files.
6. CANCELLATION
The client may cancel a booking by notifying Video for Wedding in writing.
If the client cancels, Video for Wedding may retain an appropriate amount of payments already made to cover reasonable losses, costs and commitments arising from the cancellation, subject to applicable law.
Where the date is successfully re-booked and applicable law requires this to be taken into account, Video for Wedding will consider the reduction in loss.
7. CHANGES TO THE EVENT
Any change to the date, venue, timings, duration or services is subject to availability and must be agreed by Video for Wedding.
Additional costs may apply.
8. WEATHER, VENUE & UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Video for Wedding will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed services.
However, circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, venue restrictions, illness, accidents, transport disruption, government restrictions or other emergencies, may affect the service.
Drone filming is also subject to weather, safety, venue and aviation restrictions.
9. EQUIPMENT & TECHNICAL ISSUES
Professional equipment and reasonable backup measures will be used. However, technical failures or data loss can occur despite reasonable precautions.
Where possible, Video for Wedding will use backup equipment or other reasonable measures to continue the service.
10. COPYRIGHT & USE
Copyright in photographs and films remains with Video for Wedding or the relevant copyright owner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The client receives permission to use the final delivered photographs and films for personal purposes.
Commercial use, resale or commercial licensing requires prior written permission.
11. PORTFOLIO USE
Video for Wedding may use selected photographs or video extracts for its website, portfolio, social media and advertising where legally permitted.
If you do not want your images or footage used for promotional purposes, please notify Video for Wedding in writing before the event.
12. LIABILITY
Video for Wedding will provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to applicable law, Video for Wedding's maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid or payable for the relevant booking.
13. COMPLAINTS
Any complaint should be made to Video for Wedding as soon as reasonably possible, with sufficient information for the matter to be investigated.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve genuine complaints fairly.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable to the client.
15. CLIENT ACCEPTANCE
By clicking BOOK NOW, the client confirms that:

they have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions;

they understand and accept them;

the booking details and package are correct;

they understand the payment requirements; and

they authorise Video for Wedding to reserve the agreed date.
